In 2014 I bought my first home, a small 2 bed/2 bath condo. It was a quintessential 1980s original with hideous linoleum floors and ugly oak and melamine cabinets. When I met my now husband in 2016, I was starting the process of renovating the hallway bathroom. I had designed the master bathroom the previous year and had it renovated professionally, but I wanted to tackle the rest on my own. He jumped right in with me and helped me bring my bathroom dreams to life. A few months later, we transformed the ugly galley kitchen into a modern, functional space. A year after that, we got engaged, sold the condo, and bought a new home - another fixer.

Since we moved into our 1920s stone colonial home in 2018, we’ve been slowly renovating it into our dream. Along the journey, I’ve had so many friends reach out to me for design advice, color suggestions, help sourcing materials and furnishings, and assistance with their own DIY projects. I’ve realized that my passion lies in design, in improving a space and making it functional, beautiful, and comfortable. When you walk through your home, it should make you happy.
